The night before the opening of the prestigious contemporary art exhibit "New Voice in Art", the artists and a few of the art crowd gather to celebrate and preview the exhibit. Artists mingle, drink wine, and compare their art with each other's. Why did they come here? What do they want from this party and this show? And just want does their art mean?
"New Voices in Art" is low-plot, high-immersion game. It is set in the world of contemporary art, but art in itself is not the actual theme of the game. Rather, art and the social scene that accompanies it is used to explore themes of ambition, social pretense, our desire to be creative individuals, and of everyone being alone with their innermost thoughts. Characters are developed at the beginning of the game, by the players, based on player desires and random elements. The game was written by Tor Kjetil Edland, Arvid Falch and Erling Rognli.
