Length: about 2 hours
Location: Salisbury 115

The scenes in The Road Not Taken are not continuous. There is no continuity of plot or character for each scene. Before each scene, the players will get new characters specific to that scene. Think of the game as 6-12 mini LARPs each lasting about 10 minutes, but building to a whole.
Welcome to The Road Not Taken. This is a game of emotions and decisions. There is no win or lose here. You will not have goals per se; instead, you will each play a character faced with a decision. There are no right or wrong answers here, and the choices are often difficult. In each scene, a different player will take on the role of a main character who is struggling to make a hard decision. The other players will take on the role of voices in the main character’s head. These voices may represent real people, emotions, or even concepts. The roles are assigned at random, but each player will have the opportunity to be the main character for at least one scene. The tone for this game is generally serious, but as a game that is driven by the emotions of the players, anything can happen.
For those that have played The Road Not Taken before, this run of the game will mix and match scenes from the original version and the Vanek version, giving you an opportunity to play in new scenes with new dilemmas. However, there’s no prior experience required, and new players are encouraged to sign up and experience a different flavor of larping.
